Mr. Georgopoulos joined Eurolife ΕRB Insurance in 2005 as a manager of the Internal Audit Department and in 2011 was appointed Chief Risk Officer.

Mr. Georgopoulos is a graduate of Economics from the Department of Economics, University of Patras. In the past, he has worked first as an Auditor and then as an Assistant Manager for multinational auditing firms as well as another insurance company member, of a multinational Group, in Greece.

He is a member of the Greek Economic Chamber and has served as a member of the Internal Audit Committee of the Greek Association of Insurance Companies and member of the International Institute of Internal Auditors.
