HOPEgenesis is an NGO that was founded in 2015 and operates in the domains of health and social care, aiming at overturning low birth rates in Greece.
During the past years, our country has been heading towards a demographic dead end. UN statistics show that low birth rate will result in a decline of the Greek population.
HOPEgenesis supports pregnant women who live in remote areas of Greece, by providing them with health services during pregnancy and birth – at no cost. That way, it offers security to the already pregnant ones and motive for those who want to conceive a baby.
Up to today, 99 women have been benefitted by the organization and 55 babies have been born.
