The Greek National Opera significantly works towards the country’s cultural growth, with shows and higher-level programs. Its mission is to offer to both Greek and foreign spectators access to high quality productions, such as operas, ballets, operettas etc.

During the 2019/20 season, the Greek National Opera will celebrate its 80 years in the Greek cultural environment, inaugurating a new era of conversation and interaction with the global advancements in the art of opera, while, at the same time, focusing on the support of the local talents.
